LES ATELIERS CLAUS IS TAKING A BREAK TO FOCUS ON THE INTERNAL RESTRUCTURING OF THE ORGANIZATION

“We find it important to acknowledge that in recent years, within the framework of les ateliers claus, a culture of abuse of power and manipulation has developed, particularly towards women.
We have not reacted decisively to this development and want to explicitly offer our apologies to all the victims. But apologies are not enough.
It is our intention to address this structural problem and to reform ourselves into a horizontal operation together with a large group of volunteers, employees and a new board of directors, each contributing their own expertise in various fields. This process will take time and must grow from within our organization.
We are seeking advice from professionals in the field of gender and diversity for external consultation and are committed to collaborating with them.
We have allowed this problem to persist for too long and have not understood the real needs of the victims.
More than anyone, we want to rediscover the original spirit of les ateliers claus: a place where people can feel safe and where creativity can flourish freely.”
