Psychic Liberation (PL) is a label founded in 2013 that originally ran with Miguel Alvariño under the title Primitive Languages as a cassette and record store project in New York City. Since 2019, Nick Klein has been running it solo out of the EU under the morphing title Psychic Liberation (Potentially Listenable, Profit Loss, Phree Life, Phatty Liver, etc).

Makoto Oshiro

Makoto Oshiro is a Tokyo-Berlin-based performer and artist. His primary medium is sound, but also combines other elements, including light, electricity, and the movement of objects. In live performances, he uses self- made tools and instruments that are based on electronic devices, everyday materials, and junk. His installation work handles sound as a physical and auditory phenomenon and focuses on characteristics such as vibration and interference. He is also a member of the live installation/performance group The Great △(夏の大△) with Takahiro Kawaguchi and Satoshi Yashiro, and also runs the label Basic Function.

Crack Crypt Crucifixion (C.C.C.) is the joint project of Adam Campbell (Fancyyyyyy), Nick Klein (Psychic Liberation), and
Diego Behncke (Prensa Manual), manifesting as damp, recursively claggy, pathologically-engineered environments of half-witted, pulp-feedback accidents. Seeping through, live-performances or recorded media of C.C.C. appear as temporal evidence of these acts.

sunkyu lee

Sunkyu Lee is an artist working with what can be seen and heard. Together with Hyungjoong Kim, she co-runs a web radio station, experimenting with radio as an artistic medium where technologies and communities intersect. She has been making short videos exploring interactions between herself and objects, as well as large-scale modular installations using animal cages. She is interested in variations and transformations. Her recent practice focuses more on listening and transmitting sound through a DIY binaural live-streaming device.

Lawrence McGuire

Lawrence McGuire (b. 1997) is an artist concerned with sound and text. His outputs cross the text-sound practices of the sound poets as well as machinic thinking found in computer music and sciences. For this special occasion--in his old hometown--he'll attempt to memorize and recite song lyrics and instrumentals from what he finds that day, and if needed, will be assisted by his synthetic counterpart.
